A restaurant, cafe and bar strip with good summer night life.

Why It Works

This street is also known as Little Italy and is lined with cafes. You can find restaurants, bars and gelato shops. It is a place where people go to see and be seen and has the trendiest outdoor night scene in the 'Peg.

What Makes Corydon Strip a Great Place?

Corydon Strip is located in a dense residential area with good transit and good parking. It is very accessible and used by residents of all areas of the city.

It is a safe, clean place. There is an equal number of men and women. You can usually get a seat somewhere or wait in a short line. People of ALL ages go. Lots of couples, and lots of singles out to meet people.

All areas around the street are well used. Most activities involve food or beverage, but there is also entertainment of various forms when weather permits.

There are more locals than tourists here, but that is true everywhere in Winnipeg. People are friendly and go alone, as couples, or in big groups. Definitely a meeting place.
